Trichoscopy

Hair loss is a common cause of anxiety and visiting to a doctor for both men and women. A trichologist is a specialist who diagnoses the condition of the hair and scalp, finds out the causes, provides treatment and recommends a set of preventive measures.

Trichoscopy is a computer diagnosing of the hair and scalp condition using a trichoscope, which is equipped with a video camera and magnifier.

Trichoscopy missions: testing the patient’s hair and scalp general condition, as well as the entire hair growth system (hair bulb, hair follicle, bursa pili, sebaceous glands, etc.) and the possibility of working out an individual treatment program (therapeutic agents, care aids).

Diagnostics is carried out in MC «Dermatology plus» by dermatoscope Aramo SG. There are compact multifunctional camera and programs for skin and hair diagnostics that allow to determine skin moisture, skin type, skin relief, pores size, depth and width of wrinkles, pigmentation level; hair density, scalp type, thickness of hair shaft, degree of hair loss, condition of hair cuticle.

Full skin diagnosis takes 10-15 minutes.
